Arriving by plane

The closest airport is Torino-Caselle "Sandro Pertini" (TRN) and it is connected to the city center by a bus service

Alternatively, you may arrive in Milano-Malpensa (MXP) and then reach Torino by bus (the bus terminal in Torino is located in front of Porta Susa train station) or by train (in this last case, you have to take a train or a bus from Malpensa Airport to one of the main train stations in Milano, and then take a train to Torino Porta Nuova or to Torino Porta Susa).

Arriving by train

The main train stations are Torino Porta Nuova and Torino Porta Susa. The former is located 10 minutes walk from the Mathematics Department.  Usually all high-speed trains (Frecciarossa and Italo) stop in both the stations.
